KW2 power plants present clear advantages from the perspective of recycling. The location can be renatured extremely easily, the recycled materials being metals. In the case of large power plants, the concrete obtained from demolition is very little.

Landscape
Due to its compactness, it can be integrated very harmoniously into the river environment.
A location to install a KW2 hydro powerplant, which is placed in wild nature, is of no interest to us. Although they are environmentally friendly and disturb very little (see the advantages listed on the web page), we do not want to spoil the virgin natural landscape.
